Concentration #2

Obviously the first piece could use some work!

My concentration is a sort of illustration activity, i chose to draw pictures based on stories i found in the police blotter. This i feel will be both fun for me and a cool form of storytelling, if all is successful.

The story that influence the men in skirts was a southern blotter story: police got called about men walking in "too-short" skirts

The boxer one was influenced by a blotter story from connecticut where a frustrated boxer got violent outside of the ring.

Fun Class Activities

Activities for art class:

Guess the body part of what person?: Each of us should take a photo of a random body part, and the rest of the class can guess who it belongs too i.e. those knees could be no one’s but Matt Shapiro’s!

Portraits of our fellow art jocks…:Pretty self explanatory, however it would be fun to go deep and include personality, etc.

Make a mini art class: dolls of everyone and a diorama model of the room.

Secret Santa: Done-skys!

Art Dance party: Dance party in the art room after school (since it gets dark so early now) strobe lights must be included!

Role Playing Game: live in someone else’s shoes for a class, whether that be a famous artist, or a classmate: make art like they do! Costume is vital!
